David and his friend and cousin Pat Reilly in August 1965 at Monterey Beach N.J. David was 16 years old then, with a little over 3 years left to live. There are those who would say it is cruel to say that, but that is a fact of wars, young men's lives cut far too short, never able to live a long life but for those who remember them, they will always be our Forever Young. David died in a far away country fighting for his life and the lives of his fellow Marines. Remember them always.
